Women’s Day 2021 #ChooseToChallenge

For those women who work with and for Penny Streeter OBE, there is no shortage of motivation or inspiration. This year, in support of International Women’s Day, we are supporting the message: Choose To Challenge.

From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge.

Penny Streeter OBE

At the South African Chamber of Commerce Awards in May 2019, Penny Streeter OBE won the Business Woman of the Year Award.

The Business Woman of the Year award is given to a business woman who is achieving in business, either in her own company or as an employee, who is an inspirational leader, recognised in her field and is or could be a role model to other women.

This record of success has been achieved all through her own efforts, with no bank loans or outside investors. She is a champion in the media, for her employees and for women in business, sharing her story and experience to help others.

Her core business, the medical recruitment agency A24Group, which she founded in 1996 has achieved outstanding results with a great business model which Penny created and evolved. Since 2016 she has also built a major wine, hospitality and leisure business across the UK and SA, the Benguela Collection.

What do you wish to challenge and change?

No challenge is too great, no dream too big for women who choose to stand up for themselves and within their community. After the devastating impact of COVID-19 on the global tourism and local wine industry in the Western Cape, those women who work with and for Penny are not resting on our laurels or feeling hard-done by. Instead we are rising to the challenge. Spreading encouragement, inspiration and motivation to others as we go.

Penny Streeter OBE, owner of Benguela Cove says:

“We are using every opportunity to tell our story - because it’s a great story, and supported by what are probably the finest wines in the world, certainly the best value for the quality we offer. I would just ask everyone to support this wonderful industry, which is so much part of our shared heritage, and central to our economic future, especially in the Western Cape.”

Support IWD2021 by sharing what you #ChooseToChallenge.
